Hi Coaches!!!
Thanks for the great response to our 2nd annual middle school lacrosse
playday. We are very excited to be hosting the event again this year. Last
year was a huge success. Please fill out the attached registration form
and send to the school with a check. Please forward to your middle school
coaches and any middle school club coaches you know. We will have three
divisions this year. Please be as specific as possible when describing
the level of you team. Ages of players, experience etc...
If you have a time preference, please note that on the application. I
will try to accommodate as best as possible. My primary focus in setting
the schedule will be having teams of similar level, age, and experience
in the same divisions. Also, let me know if you have players that play
for school and club teams. Last year we had a bunch of players play for
both teams and that is great!! Again, I will try to juggle that wild card
as well.
Each player will receive a T-shirt and a goodie bag filled with items
to be determined. Last year's goodie bag included a T-Shirt, water bottle,
lanyard and sticker.
If you previously responded that you are in...I have saved you a spot.
Just get us the application and check as soon as possible.
Thanks everyone!!!!

must register for the DC Metro Sub Regional Tryout.
NEW FOR 2010:
When registering for National Tournament tryouts
online, players will have to state if they want to stand for the US Lacrosse
U-19 team. On April 25th, we will choose 12 players to represent
our chapter at the tryout in August. Please educate your players
about the team and the commitment involved before they decide to tryout. Players
trying out for the U-19 team will participate in National Tournament tryouts
as usual. They will not be identified and they will not do any different
drills or stations. Players trying out for U-19 must bring to the
tryout a separate $25 check payable to US Lacrosse. This is in addition
to the DC Metro tryout fee that players will mail in prior to tryouts.
NEW FOR 2010:
There is no limit to the number of players a coach
may nominate, but we ask you to be responsible. We can only handle
a certain number of players and once we hit that number, tryouts will
be closed and any new registrants will be place on a waiting list. Players
must be on the Varsity team. Registration will open on March 15th, 2010.
All head varsity coaches MUST be members of US Lacrosse by April 1st,
2010. Memberships MUST be renewed each year. The number of
head coach members determines the number of All Americans, National Tournament
Teams, etc. The MORE members, the MORE All Americans, the MORE National
Tournament Teams....MORE MEMBERS=MORE OPPORTUNITY FOR OUR GIRLS.
