2009 Potomac Chapter Southern
Maryland Level I Coaches Education Clinic
Southern Maryland’s Level 1 Coaching
Clinic was held at Calvert High School in Prince Frederick, MD on January
25, 2009. Over 65 boys and girls coaches attended the all day sessions
and where instructed by a total of 6 US Lacrosse Certified Instructors.
Although the day started out a bit chilly (Below 25 degrees) the attendees
and instructors braved the cold and worked diligently during both Classroom
and outside Lacrosse field instruction. The Southern Maryland Area of the
Potomac Chapter is excited to have hosted this Level 1 Clinic, and all
youth lacrosse programs supported the effort. Working off the momentum
created by this years success, Southern Maryland intends to hold a Level
2 Clinic next year! For more information as to ‘What’s going
on IN Southern Maryland Lacrosse” please contact Mike Hyland at mhyland@appanet.org
